Solutions for sloping ground and difficult sites
Foundations adapted to slopes, clay soil and limited access, without major levelling works.
Suitable for
Concrete scenarios where this solution works well.
Terrace on a hill or sloping ground
Height-adjustable foundations that compensate for the level difference, without flattening the hill and without costly excavation.
Cabin or platform on a hillside
A stable structure on sloping forest or rural ground. We build where the excavator cannot go.
Platform on uneven or undulating ground
Soil with level variations, shallow rock or high moisture: we assess and adapt the solution.
Access with compact machinery
Our installer has a small footprint and fits on narrow paths, through gardens and between trees where other machinery cannot.
What’s included
What you get when you work with Martetic on this solution category.
- Detailed assessment of ground, slope and soil type
- Selection of foundation depth and diameter adapted to the conditions
- Installation with equipment adapted to the real access
- Foundation height adjustment to compensate for the slope
- Platform stability and level check
- Clean-up and handover

How it works
The main steps from order to handover, for this category.
Ground and conditions assessment
We analyse the slope, soil type, available access and the structural requirements of the project.
Solution selection
We choose the type, diameter and depth of foundations suited to your specific conditions.
Installation adapted to the ground
Installation with equipment suited to the access. We compensate for the slope through the foundations' height adjustment.
Verification and handover
We check the stability, alignment and level of the platform. We hand over ready for the structure to be installed.
Advantages
What makes this solution better than the classic alternatives.
No massive earthworks
The foundations' height adjustment compensates for the slope. You don't have to flatten the ground before installation.
Accessible where other machinery can't go
Our installer works on narrow paths, in gardens and on vegetated slopes. No separate access road for an excavator.
Adaptable to difficult soil
On clay, damp soil or uneven ground, we choose the right depth and diameter. Each site is assessed separately.
The same solution for any structure
Terraces, cabins, containers, panels, glamping: screw foundations on a slope work regardless of what you install above.
Products that may be considered
The options below are a starting point. The final selection is confirmed after the structure, ground, loads, connection and installation conditions.
V76, V89 or V114, depending on depth and level differences
What you need to send us
The location, dimensions, the sketch or plan, known weight or loads, photographs of the ground and the desired deadline.
What we check
The ground, access, bearing points, the connection to the structure, vertical and lateral loads and the possibility of installation.
Frequently asked questions
What customers usually ask about this category.
We have completed projects on slopes of 20–25%. The practical limit also depends on what you will install above. We discuss it at the assessment.
Screw foundations are adjusted individually in height. Each foundation is brought to the correct level, so the final platform is perfectly horizontal regardless of the slope.
For simple projects, usually not. We assess the ground visually and practically on site. For large structures or those with significant loads, we recommend a geotechnical study.
Our installer has a small footprint and fits on narrow or vegetated paths. If the access is wider, we also use the Bobcat for ground preparation.
Yes. On clay we use foundations with a larger diameter and greater depth, to get past the active layer (the one that swells with moisture).
