Outdoor stairs and ramps on screw foundations

Stable, attractive access for any raised structure, with no excavation, no concrete and no compromises.

Suitable for

Concrete scenarios where this solution works well.

1

Stairs for a cabin or tiny house

Main access for lightweight buildings raised on platforms, steel stairs firmly anchored, without affecting the structure above.

2

Access ramp for a modular container

Steel ramp for ISO containers or modular offices, needed for pedestrian access and for meeting accessibility rules where applicable.

3

Steps for a terrace or raised platform

Side or front access for terraces raised 30–80 cm above the ground, aesthetically integrated, with foundations independent of the platform.

4

Stairs for a warehouse or technical enclosure

Industrial or semi-industrial stairs for technical structures and warehouses, robust, with handrail, in line with safety requirements.

What’s included

What you get when you work with Martetic on this solution category.

  • Site and access height assessment
  • Design of stair / ramp geometry (angle, width, handrail)
  • Installation of independent screw foundations
  • Installation of steel frame, treads and handrail
  • Alignment with the existing structure
  • Clean-up and handover
Outdoor stairs / Ramps

How it works

The main steps from order to handover, for this category.

1

Measurement and assessment

The access height, the optimal angle and the finish type you want. We determine the exact geometry of the stair or ramp.

2

Foundation installation

Screw foundations independent of the main platform, so as not to transfer additional loads.

3

Structure installation

The steel frame, treads and handrail are assembled on site or delivered prefabricated.

4

Alignment and handover

We check the connection to the existing structure, align it and hand over ready for use.

Advantages

What makes this solution better than the classic alternatives.

Independent foundations

The stair does not rest on the platform; it has its own foundations. It does not transfer additional loads and can be dismantled separately.

Demountable and relocatable

If you change the structure or the location, the stair is dismantled and reinstalled without leaving marks on the ground.

Adaptable to any height

From 2 steps for a low terrace to stairs with 8–10 steps for containers or raised platforms. The geometry is calculated for each project.

No concrete, no digging

Steel screw foundations, with no excavation, no curing time and no mess around the existing structure.

Products that may be considered

The options below are a starting point. The final selection is confirmed after the structure, ground, loads, connection and installation conditions.

M76, M89 or V76, depending on levels and loads

What you need to send us

The location, dimensions, the sketch or plan, known weight or loads, photographs of the ground and the desired deadline.

What we check

The ground, access, bearing points, the connection to the structure, vertical and lateral loads and the possibility of installation.

Frequently asked questions

What customers usually ask about this category.

Not by default. We specify them separately in the proposal. Some clients prefer to install the stairs after the platform is finished; both options can be planned.

The frame is steel. The treads can be expanded metal, treated timber, WPC composite or galvanised grating, depending on preference and use (indoor, outdoor, industrial).

Yes. We design ramps with a compliant slope (max. 1:12), handrails on both sides and a non-slip surface. Specify the requirement on request.

Yes. The stair's foundations are independent. It is dismantled without affecting the platform or the structure above.

We recommend a minimum of 80 cm for comfortable access. Industrial standard: 100 cm. We adapt to the available space and frequency of use.
